Low Rank Factorization

For data formulated in matrices, decomposition into component species is mathematically known as low rank factorization (LRF). However, solving it as a general LRF problem is usually inappropriate. We will explain what this means and set the stage for later chapters. In other words, how we can add constraints will be discussed later there.
